Direct message the job poster from First Health Advisory Director of Recruiting at First Health Advisory Solutions First Health Advisory is looking for a Senior Privacy Consultant for a 3-month contract starting in October. This will be primarily remote with one week on-site. The Senior Privacy Consultant will be responsible for providing industry expertise to First Health Advisory’s clients. Senior Consultants lead privacy engagements, assess complex environments, and advise clients on gap remediation. This role involves deep technical analysis, high-level advisory, and client management responsibilities. As tenured consultants, a Senior Consultant helps mentor other consultants, takes on one or more client projects, and can present various project/program updates to internal and external audiences; a Senior Consultant strives to make improvements and help the clients achieve success. Responsibilities Support multiple First Health customers in support of program/project tasks Present assessment findings and/or program/project updates to client stakeholders Mentor Privacy Consultants and Junior Consultants Track project tasks to ensure timely competition and delivery in collaboration with project managers Provide industry-specific expertise and guidance to clients Brainstorm strategies for growth, positive change and improvement Lead presentations and organize meetings Solve problems through helpful recommendations and practical suggestions Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned Duties Lead and execute privacy assessments and other managed services for clients with some supervision Identify, document, and present gaps, actionable recommendations, and remediation strategies to improve privacy programs Analyze privacy policies, procedures, and practices Use analytical skills to provide detailed written reports Conduct meetings with cross function teams and document responses Assist clients with implementing robust privacy programs Monitor and be knowledgeable about regulatory developments in data privacy Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences Provide project updates to internal and external audiences Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Work with cross-functional business and clinical resources to provide guidance and support Draft privacy related policies, procedures, notices, template forms, training, and other related documents Ability to interpret regulatory requirements into practical business considerations and recommendations Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience HCCA or IAPP privacy and compliance certifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in Privacy, Compliance, and/or Data Governance or related fields Significant experience with and understanding of legal and regulatory compliance standards such as NIST Privacy Framework, HIPAA Privacy and Breach Notification Rules, GDPR, and relevant US state data privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, CPA, etc.) Experience working in the healthcare industry Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, and SharePoint Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Consulting Industries Hospitals and Health Care Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at First Health Advisory by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Data Privacy Consultant” roles.
