Senior Exchange Engineer
$110,000 - $130,000 annually + 10% bonus
Locations: Irving, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL
Hybrid work environment

Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Senior Exchange Engineer to lead the engineering, migration, and support of the company's Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 messaging environment. The role involves managing Exchange Online, Hybrid Exchange, mail flow, tenant migrations, and integrating messaging systems, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability. Collaboration with various teams, including Cybersecurity and IT infrastructure, is essential, along with expertise in PowerShell scripting and EntraID. This position offers significant growth potential within a rapidly expanding team.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience supporting Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments
• Deep technical expertise in Exchange Online, Hybrid Exchange, and on-premises Exchange Server
• Proven experience executing large-scale migrations (on-premises to cloud, tenant-to-tenant)
• Strong knowledge of Exchange architecture, SMTP, mail routing, connectors, and auto-discover protocols
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with EntraID, authentication, and identity synchronization
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various technical teams
• Ability to work hands-on and resolve complex technical issues

Responsibilities:

• Design, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale Exchange environments
• Lead migration projects, including assessments, planning, and validation
• Manage mailbox and mail flow configurations, ensuring high availability and security
• Serve as escalation point for messaging-related issues and root cause analysis
• Develop automation tools using PowerShell
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement security policies and respond to incidents
• Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve platform issues and optimize performance
