QA Automation Engineer - Media Content Tools (Web & API Testing)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join the Content Tools QA Team supporting Digital Supply Chain Engineering. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications, with strong expertise in Playwright/Selenium, API testing, and Media Content Management systems .
The role involves designing and executing test strategies, developing automated UI and API test suites, validating end-to-end workflows, and collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Experience in Media Content Functional Testing and Content Management Systems is highly preferred.
Experience Required
- 5-10 Years of Quality Assurance experience ( Strictly not more than 10 years )
- Experience in Web Application Testing
- Hands-on experience in Automation Testing
- Prior experience in Media Content Functional Testing

Key Responsibilities
Manual & Automation Testing
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web applications.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium .
- Perform regression, smoke, functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Validate UI functionality, workflows, and end-user experience.
API Testing
- Perform REST API testing using:
- Postman
- REST Assured
- validation
- Validate request/response payloads, authentication, status codes, and API integrations.
Defect Management
- Investigate, reproduce, and document software defects.
- Prepare detailed bug reports with logs, screenshots, and reproduction steps.
- Track issues using Jira and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Test Planning & Quality Assurance
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, sprint planning, and release readiness.
- Define test strategies and improve automation coverage.
- Contribute to CI/CD-based testing and continuous quality improvement.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, QA Engineers, and Business Teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and quality reviews.
