TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Concord, North Carolina, 28025!

Job Title: ICU RN Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years ICU experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: General ICU skillset including critical care gtts experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, and management of invasive lines. Description: The manager needs a candidate that can start as soon as possible. Facility is licensed for 457 beds. It is a Level 3 Trauma center and a Stroke Center of Excellence. The unit has a capacity of 40 beds with a patient census of approximately 40. Patients typically include ventilated patients, stroke and thrombectomy patients, and overdose cases, among others. The patient ratios are RN: 1:1-3. Support staff includes CNAs, who assist with turning, feeding, and mobility. There is a charge nurse available 24/7. Phlebotomy services are provided by an RN. Respiratory Therapists and Hospitalists are also available around the clock. Telemetry monitoring is conducted with hardwire monitors and travel tele boxes. Travelers may be required to float within region and scope of practice depending on needs. The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records and various advanced medical technology and equipment. Weekend rotation is required every other week, and travelers will work 75% of the holidays. Requests for time off can be approved up to six days, excluding holidays. Teamwork is emphasized on both day and night shifts.
