WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Facilitate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program objectives by providing clear and continuous direction.
Be a multi-site EHS expert, maintain strong shop floor presence and be considered the preferred point of contact for safety, health and environmental related inquiries.
Monitor applicable EHS regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze potential impacts; provide operations leadership solutions as applicable.
Manage environmental processes to ensure regulatory requirements and sustainability initiatives are met in relation to waste management, water consumption and energy consumption.
Coordinate and engage plant personnel and other personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS improvements.
Manage EHS documents, vendor contract and permit administration.
Oversee workers compensation cases, working with human resources and legal teams.
Manage incident reporting process and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Facilitate required EHS training to ensure all regulatory and company obligations are met.
YOU HAVE:
Academic background in Engineering, Science, Safety or Environmental. Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting. 3+ years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Demonstrated ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization.
Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and the ability to apply such in the manufacturing setting.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$62,900.00 - $116,900.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
