Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Allegheny Health Network (AHN) and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Allegheny Health Network (AHN).

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. Neonatal/pediatric experience required as well due to the small nursery.
Unit Details: Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies. Completes required documentation including charting, billing, IPOC, and patient/family education. Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/evening shifts. No call. Every other weekend.
6 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
