Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in the cath lab according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status during procedures and document findings accurately; respond to changes in condition with appropriate clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other disciplines to coordinate care and ensure procedural workflows meet safety and quality standards.
- Supervise and direct activities of varying levels of assigned nursing staff; provide guidance and support as needed.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to clinical decisions, while maintaining patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
- Uphold infection control practices, medication administration safety, and documentation accuracy throughout the care continuum.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California (state-specific licensure required for this assignment)
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced cath lab setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate care across disciplines
- Capacity to supervise nursing staff and provide clear, professional direction
