Industrial Electrician

Electrician Department: Maintenance Location: Stony Creek, Virginia Direct Supervisor: Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Superintendent Sites: Stony Creek Mineral Separation Plant Concord Mine and Concentrator ASM Industrial electricians will work in a variety of environments and plant sites. They will install and repair electrical components and equipment. Key Responsibilities Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of industrial equipment. Working as a team member or alone to complete projects. Observing safety procedures and meeting electrical codes. Making decisions based on technical documents. Performing quality testing and inspections. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Journeyman license / certification required. Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment. Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations. Must be a team player. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
