Infusion Pharmacy Technician

UC Health is hiring an Infusion Pharmacy Technician in our infusion pharmacy department at West Chester Hospital. We're offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus!

Infusion pharmacy technicians work collaboratively within the UC Medical Center infusion centers dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer and other infusion medication needs. Infusion pharmacy technicians perform hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding through best practices and support of compounding technology. Infusion pharmacy technicians are essential members of the collective interprofessional infusion teams.

Responsibilities include engaging in population appropriate communication, procuring and distributing medication orders per prescriber request, maintaining adequate stock of medications and supplies, contributing to the effective operation of the department, and participating in the quality improvement activities of the department.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, current pharmacy technician registration by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, current certified technician certificate, and the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Expected starting salary range for this position is between $25.04/hr.- $33.19/hr.
