Pipe Leaderman (Day Shift) – Full Time

Location: Houma, LA

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pipe Leaderman with at least 5 years of experience performing pipe fitting and welding in a marine or industrial environment. This role is responsible for leading crews in the fitting, welding, testing, and installation of piping systems on assigned vessels while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are met.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of pipe fitting and welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
  • Familiarity with marine construction practices.
  • Leadership experience directing crews and coordinating work activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Leaderman or Foreman experience.
  • Shipyard or vessel construction experience.
  • TWIC Card.
  • OSHA certification.
  • NCCER Pipefitter certification or equivalent.
6 Qualifying Questions
  1. Do you have at least 5 years of pipe fitting and welding experience?
  2. How many years of experience do you have leading pipe crews?
  3. Can you read and interpret construction drawings and piping specifications?
  4. Do you have experience working in a marine or shipyard environment?
  5. Do you have experience directing crews in system testing and vessel piping installation?
  6. Do you currently hold a TWIC Card, OSHA certification, NCCER certification, or other relevant credentials?
