Position Highlights:

• Full-time travel assignment, split between two elementary schools
• Approximately 0.5 FTE days at each school
• Caseload of 15-20 enthusiastic students
• Start date as soon as possible; assignment extends through winter break, with possible extension if a direct hire isn’t secured

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid endorsement/certification in Special Education (Elementary)
• Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored instruction
• Familiarity with elementary grade-level curriculum
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and willingness to engage with new teaching environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality specialized instruction to elementary-aged students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with legal requirements
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social development
• Employ evidence-based strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with school staff
