Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice - $70K-85K per year

Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice position in South Elgin, IL. Ongoing staff role. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in a hospice setting collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom and pain management, and individualized end‑of‑life care planning. Educate and support patients and families through the end‑of‑life journey, ensuring they feel informed, prepared, and deeply cared for. Think critically, solve problems in real time, and maintain thorough, compliant EMR documentation. Work independently, while never alone. Travel to patient homes within assigned territory. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license in the state you work. Two years RN experience; clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care (hospice experience preferred). Current driver’s license and ability to spend approximately 20% of your day driving to/from patient locations. Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment (includes medical and recreational marijuana). Compensation The low end of the range includes salary and a first‑year success bonus. The high end is inclusive of productivity bonuses and additional shift work that is paid at a premium (e.g., after hours, weekends, on‑call). Compensation potential varies by market.
