Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview Senior Quality Control Inspector (Consultant) to oversee construction quality across all active projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong technical knowledge and judgment to identify quality issues, enforce standards, and guide project teams toward corrective action. This consultant-style position involves travel across 20+ project sites and focuses on quality oversight, verification, and enforcement, with high expectations for documentation and professional independence. Compensation: $125,000 annually Key Responsibilities Conduct high-level quality inspections across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP work. Verify field work against drawings, specifications, submittals, and applicable codes (CBC, LABC, ACI, ASTM, NFPA, industry standards). Identify deviations, workmanship issues, and long-term durability risks. Provide independent assessments and recommend corrective actions to ensure proper closure. Advise Project Engineers and ACMs on technical matters, quality risks, and compliance gaps. Prepare professional reports including photos, notes, checklists, and NCRs; maintain logs of deficiencies and follow‑ups. Travel between multiple project sites based on schedule and coordinate with teams to ensure inspection readiness. Enforce company QA/QC standards and recommend long-term improvements to prevent recurring issues. Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals when required for compliance verification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
