Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay: $18.75- 20.75

Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for running secondary functions in the fabrication department. This role involves operating a variety of machinery with basic tasks such as loading parts, running the machine, off-loading parts, and checking quality. While basic assembly functions may be required, most assembly occurs in the production department.

Responsibilities

• Operate a machine to perform secondary functions in the fabrication department.
• Execute secondary functions such as grinding, polishing, drilling holes, deburring, measuring, and basic assembly.
• Load material onto the machine, run the part, and check the quality of the finished product.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of machine operating experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in measuring and operating machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in metal manufacturing is a plus.
• General labor and production experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $20.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
