Mechanic

Mechanic – Bellevue Public Schools (Nebraska) Applications are being accepted for an 8‑hour per day Mechanic position at the Transportation building. Key Responsibilities Maintenance and inspection of all vehicles owned and/or operated by the school district. Maintenance of a safe shop and safe, economically operating vehicles. Supervision and/or performance of repairs and maintenance on all aforementioned vehicles. Required Qualifications ASE certified or possess a minimum of two years experience as a diesel/medium duty mechanic. School bus experience preferred, but not required. Not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others, with or without reasonable accommodations. Capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned. Position is subject to veterans preference.
