Veteran Care Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veteran Care Specialist to join our team at Upscale Home Care in Goodyear, Arizona. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in empowering veterans and seniors to thrive in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support clients with medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Engage clients in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, such as conversations, games, and outings
Develop strong relationships with clients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences
Collaborate with our team of professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care
Requirements:
1 year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a commitment to providing exceptional care
