Market Development ManagerThe Market Development Manager will be a critical member of the Global Partners Fuels Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director of Fuels Marketing. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing new Dealer Owned Service Station (DOSS) opportunities throughout the Southeast market. The position manages the full business development lifecycle, including prospecting, financial evaluation, negotiation, internal approvals, onboarding and brand implementation. The Market Development Manager will also grow and retain existing dealer relationships to deliver sustainable volume, revenue and profitability.We are seeking ideal candidates based in Tampa, FL but can be flexible to this depending on qualifications and established book of business. This role requires moderate travel in the state of FL.Job Description:Conduct industry and market research to identify prospective DOSS opportunities and develop effective sales strategies that drive profitable growthProspect and sign new DOSS accounts throughout the assigned Southeast marketPartner cross-functionally with Finance, Credit, Legal, Supply, Operations, Marketing and other stakeholders to evaluate and execute new business opportunitiesPrepare and present professional proposals and commercial offers to prospective customersMaintain accurate and timely CRM records, including leads, opportunities, proposals, anticipated closings and customer activityAct as a primary liaison between dealer customers and the company, ensuring clear communication and alignment with company standards and expectationsMonitor competitive activity, market developments and customer feedback, and communicate relevant opportunities and risks to leadershipDevelop, maintain, grow and renew strong dealer relationships while identifying opportunities to increase volume and profitabilitySolicit and negotiate long-term branded and unbranded fuel supply agreements that support profitable and sustainable growthDevelop financial models and evaluate opportunities based on volume, CPG, EBITDA, IRR and other key investment criteriaObtain prospective customer financial information and coordinate credit applications, due diligence and internal approvalsLead the onboarding of new dealer accounts and coordinate brand imaging to ensure a seamless transition and long-term successDevelop and maintain a robust pipeline of growth opportunities aligned with the company's long-term objectivesDevelop and track key performance indicators and provide regular updates on pipeline activity, sales performance, market trends and business development resultsAdditional Job Description:Bachelor's degree preferredProven record of sales growthExperience in business development, fuel sales, customer relationship management or a related commercial fieldStrong knowledge of the fuels value chain and the retail and wholesale fuel marketsExceptional project management skillsClear verbal and written communication skillsEnthusiasm for the company and its growth potentialStrong financial acumen with the ability to develop and evaluate investment business casesProven sales, negotiation and networking skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skillsTravel throughout the Southeast market with overnight stays as necessaryEducational background in business, finance, marketing or a related fieldPay Range:$89,600.00 - $134,400.00The pay range for this position is outlined above.
