Phlebotomist Float

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday hours will vary between 6am – 6pm, and rotating Saturdays; additional days and hours may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior Labcorp experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Valid Driver's License and good driving record. At least 21 years old. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Benefits Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off or Flexible Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
