Machine Operator

Location: Rockford, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Are you looking for an opportunity with a growing manufacturer in a comfortable, temperature-controlled environment? We're seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll operate plastic injection molding machines to manufacture office chair components made from recovered plastics. The products you help create are shipped throughout North America, Asia, and Europe.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

• Machine Operation: Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce quality office chair components.
• Production & Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and ensure production standards are consistently met.
• Material Handling: Perform repetitive production tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work area.

In addition, you will work closely with team members to support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Ability to work 10–12 hour shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Skills:

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
