Speech Therapist/Language Pathologist (Northern Schools)

Special Education Support Services (SESS) 150 Days, 8.5 Hours per Day Funding Source: Special Education Fund Salary Range: $51,323-$103,407 (Job Description Attached) Job Goal: Provide speech/language services to eligible students district-wide, as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), which may affect the student's adjustment and ability to make appropriate use of the educational experience.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Pathology or related field Valid Nevada Driver's License Valid Nevada Educator License* Please be advised: Effective October 1, 2026, the NVDOE will no longer issue an initial SLP license to candidates holding only a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree will be required for all initial licenses. However, the district retains the ability to employ both Masters and Bachelors level SLPs, as long as their SLP license remains active and valid. Start Date: 2026-2027 school year. Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check and pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing. In-district applicants will be considered before out-of-district applicants from February 1st through February 28th.
