Job Summary:
A certified operating room technician position is available in Skokie, Illinois. This role involves working in a busy 20-bed specialized orthopedic and spine unit with a typical utilization of 17 to 18 operating rooms. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must meet the specified qualifications.

Job Details:

• Location: Skokie, Illinois
• Specialty: Certified Operating Room Technician
• Shift: 8 or 10-hour day shifts with call. Shift hours are scheduled days.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, with rotation call responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include NBSTSA (certification not mandatory), BLS. Candidates must have 2 years of experience as a CST or Surgical Tech, with specific experience in general surgery, hand, foot/ankle, sports medicine, total joint robotics, and solid spine orthopedics. Robotics experience with Mako, Rosa, and Cora is preferred. Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the hospital.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fast-paced environments, robotics, and orthopedic/spine surgery.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 hours call back availability. Credentialing must be completed with credentials due by the Thursday prior to the start date, including DS, CBC, and Tspot/QuantiFERON gold tests within 90 days of start. The start date is set for 07/12/2026.
