Warehouse Associate

$18-$24/hr

Company Description A reputable and well-established local flooring and carpet company is looking for an experienced well-rounded individual to staff the warehouse with an opportunity to advance. We have been in business for 43 years located in San Diego. We are experiencing significant growth and are hiring highly qualified and motivated individuals.

Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in fulfilling warehouse duties in the flooring business or a similar industry.

Under the supervision and direction of the Operations Manager, duties will include using the forklift to load and unload flooring materials, monitoring inventories and ensuring the warehouse is fully stocked, ordering suppliers, dealing with installers, and providing support to office staff.

Must have the ability to work independently and be self-motivated, handle stress and communicate well with customers and office staff.

Other requirements:

Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)

Clean Cut

Excellent customer service

Team player

Good with numbers

Must have a professional appearance and 3 work related references.

Must be honest, reliable, and hardworking

Must be able to mutli-task as we are a small business and will be required to perform other related duties as needed

Full time, 5 days a week Occasional Saturday

Clean Criminal Background and drug free environment

90 Day evaluation period

• Salary negotiable depending on experience, qualifications, and performance. Forklift certification if needed will be provided.
