Overview
A leading publisher in the physical sciences is seeking a REMOTE temporary full-time Editorial Assistant for 6+ months. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Publishing Development and provide critical support to the Publishing Team.
Pay range: $21.00/hr - $28.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Review submissions to ensure they meet ethical standards.
- Manage articles through the peer review and production processes, ensuring timely publication.
- Communicate with authors, editors, and conference organizers, providing guidance on publishing processes and addressing inquiries.
- Assist with administrative tasks that support the success of the Conference Proceedings program.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
- Team player with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
