Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide competent clinical nursing care according to professional standards.
• Assess and communicate relevant patient care information.
• Demonstrate care competence for patients with complex problems.
• Initiate and execute patient care planning and assessment.
• Participate in promoting cost-effective care and a safe hospital environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care evaluation.

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 2 years emergency department experience.
• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.
• English proficiency: Read, Write, Speak.
