Med Lab Tech II - Per Diem - Night Shift

Med Lab Tech II - Per Diem - Night Shift
Performs analysis of body fluids and exudates. Performs various chemical procedures on specimens using several laboratory equipments. Performs quality control procedures, linearities, instrument checks and maintenance of instruments. Records workload and other statistics. Calculates and tabulates results and makes reports of observations. Post tests findings.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science with a chemical, physical or biologic science as a major subject and minimum one year training in a clinical laboratory or Associate in Arts in Medical Laboratory Science with a full semester of hospital training.
Required licensures/certifications: Current Florida license as a Medical Technologist in all specialties.
Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and understanding of the Laboratory work flow. Good oral and written communication skills.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in hospital experience preferred in the field.
