Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Office Assignment: One office location only
Pay: $30-$36 per hour

We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant in Hallandale Beach, FL for an orthopedic outpatient clinic. This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys active patient care, exercise-based treatment, and helping patients improve movement after injury, surgery, or physical limitation.

You will work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to carry out treatment plans and help patients move through each stage of recovery.

Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour days
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision
• Assist patients with strengthening, stretching, balance, and mobility exercises
• Observe patient tolerance and movement quality during sessions
• Share patient updates with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Reinforce home exercise programs and safe movement habits
• Record daily treatment notes and patient response
• Help maintain a professional and organized clinic environment

Requirements

• Active Florida PTA License
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Comfortable working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
