Exciting Dental Hygienist Position (New Graduates Encouraged to Apply)
Newport News, VA

Our organization, a family-oriented and cosmetic dental practice located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to become part of our expanding team. We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, gentle, and evidence-based dental care within a collaborative and nurturing atmosphere.

Work Schedule

• Options for full-time or part-time employment
• Flexible hours, accommodating up to 32 hours weekly
• Designated lunch break included

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care, including prophylaxis for adults and children, scaling and root planing, sealant application, and fluoride treatments
• Inform patients about oral hygiene techniques and preventive measures
• Capture and process dental x-rays
• Perform initial patient screenings and evaluations
• Keep precise records using Eaglesoft (training can be provided if necessary)
• Administer local anesthesia if licensed to do so
• Work collaboratively with our team to enhance patient experiences

Qualifications

• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
• Current Virginia Dental Hygiene license
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft or comparable practice management software (training available if needed)
• Empathetic, team-oriented, and dedicated to patient care

• Hourly wage ranging from $47 to $55, depending on experience
