Cost Accounting ManagerLead the Cost Accounting Team • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth • Drive talent development through coaching, cross-training, succession planning, and recruitmentDrive Financial and Operational Excellence • Ensure accurate cost standards, cost factors, inventory valuation, and variance analysis • Identify cost reduction opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability • Partner with operations teams to support business objectivesManage Reporting and Month-End Close • Oversee month-end cost accounting activities, including journal entry reviews and account reconciliations • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting • Analyze manufacturing results and communicate key insights to leadershipStrengthen Controls and Compliance • Lead largescale physical inventory activities • Supervise build station audits • Support SOX compliance and testing requirementsSupport Strategic Initiatives • Participate in plant projects, system implementations, facility changes, and operational improvement initiatives • Collaborate across functions to optimize processes and enhance financial performance • Perform other duties as assignedQualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • CPA, CMA, or MBA required • 5 to 10 years of accounting experience • Strong background in manufacturing and cost accounting • Previous leadership or people management experiencePreferred Skills • SAP experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications • Ability to influence across organizational levels and communicate complex financial information clearly
