About the Position

Travel OR RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Connecticut. Shifts consist of 10am-6pm. Weekend requirements – On call 1 every 4 weekends. Holiday Requirement – Holiday as it falls in call rotation. Call for RN’s 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend, CST’s 1-2 days per week and every. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, PALS. Number of rooms or suites for OR and Cath Lab - 3 (1 currently used primarily for endo procedures). Number of cases per day varies. Types of cases - General Surgery, Podiatry, OB/GYN, Ortho, ENT, Endoscopy (EGD, Colon). Will the traveler float and if so, how often? RN’s also do PACU. Otherwise no floating. EMR system used - EPIC. Medication system used – Pyxis. Pharmacy Tech? NO. Scrub colors required or provided – Royal blue provided.
