Data AnalystThe Data Analyst will be responsible for managing Division wide centralized data. This role will build reliable dashboards and validate/clean the data to ensure accurate insights are available for team members and leaders. The role will drive data into actionable business insights.Core Responsibilities1. Data Collection & PreparationCollect data from systems (ERP, production, quality, finance, HR)Clean and validate data for accuracy and consistency2. Analysis & Insight GenerationIdentify trends, patterns, and root causes (e.g., scrap, downtime, turnover)Use statistical and analytical techniques to interpret data3. Reporting & VisualizationBuild dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)Translate complex data into clear, simple insights for leaders4. Business PartneringWork with operations, finance, HR, and engineeringDefine KPIs and measure performance against business goals5. Decision SupportProvide recommendations to improve:Key Skills RequiredTechnical SkillsSQL, Excel (advanced)Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)Python or R (increasingly expected)Database and data management knowledgePower BI & DatabricksAnalytical SkillsProblem solvingPattern recognitionRoot cause analysisBusiness SkillsAbility to connect data to P&L impactStrong communication with non-technical leadersOrganized with strong attention to detail
