Dye Room and Range Operator (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | 1st Shift Available)

Adecco is partnering with a leading textile manufacturing organization to identify a Dye room and Range operator who will play a critical role in overseeing dyeing and finishing operations, ensuring product quality, and leading production teams. This is a direct hire opportunity within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily dye room operations, including startup, monitoring, and shutdown of dye range equipment.

Ensure all equipment is set to proper maintenance and operating conditions and remains clean between runs and at shift end.

Coordinate with inspectors to prepare materials and organize production runs.

Follow and enforce proper weighing and mixing procedures for dye preparation.

Monitor dyeing processes, including checking shade consistency and verifying pH levels throughout production runs.

Prepare and maintain shade cards, QC documentation, and production records to ensure product quality standards are met.

Verify correct style and color specifications and ensure all materials are properly identified.

Inspect finished product attributes including color, width, and firmness before approving production continuation.

Operate and verify color matching using appropriate testing equipment (e.g., Macbeth system) to ensure pass/fail standards.

Report equipment malfunctions or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.

Identify and report off-quality product immediately to prevent further production issues.

Support and direct inspectors as needed, including coordinating workflow and assisting during critical situations.

Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, especially when handling chemicals and operating equipment.

Ensure proper use of PPE, including goggles, gloves, aprons, and face shields when required.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall plant operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in textile dyeing, finishing, or manufacturing operations required (lead or supervisory experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of dyeing processes, chemical handling, and quality control standards.

Ability to monitor and adjust production processes to maintain consistent quality output.

Experience with color matching and quality inspection processes preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate team activities.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to follow production schedules, procedures, and safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout production areas for extended periods.

Ability to lift, handle, and move materials as required in production.

Ability to work in environments with heat, chemicals, and industrial equipment.

Ability to wear required PPE, including full protective gear when handling chemicals or cleaning equipment.

Pay Details: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
