Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and craft tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and functionality.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to achieve optimum results.
• Guide patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercises.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment processes, and patient progress per facility and regulatory standards.
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to provide seamless care.

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalently recognized degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification.
• Specialized qualifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not necessary.

Skills

• Previous clinical experience is highly preferred.
