Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

At least one prior travel assignment


Description:
Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 558
Number of Staff: 5-8
Type of Staff: Permanent staff, 2-4 RRTs, per diem help
Day Shift: Supervisor RRT, 4-8 RRTs
Night Shift: Supervisor, 4-8 RRTs
Patient Ratios: Varies
Type of Equipment: Oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP and BIPAP machines, V60, Servo-1, and Servo-U, high flow
Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements: If needed


Typical Procedures Performed:
Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.


Additional Preferences:
Experience in stroke education
Active disciplinary approach
Collaborative physician relationships
Previous Meditech experience preferred but not required
