American Montessori Society-verified for more than 22 years, Our World Montessori is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher to support children ages 18 months to 6 years in a peaceful, engaging learning environment.

No Montessori experience is required — we are happy to train the right candidate.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay from $17.50/hour minimum

What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:

• Support the Head Teacher in maintaining a calm, nurturing classroom
• Help children develop independence, confidence, and social skills
• Assist with classroom organization and daily routines
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Contribute to a respectful and collaborative school culture

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma
• Minimum age of 18
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Experience working with young children

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
