As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with skin-related conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient careWork closely with a team of healthcare professionalsAssess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-beingConduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinationsOrder and interpret diagnostic testsDevelop accurate diagnoses and treatment plansPrescribe medication and administer treatmentsCommitment to person-centered careConduct screenings and skin evaluationsSkin BiopsiesWound care/skincareDiagnose and treat residents with a variety of skin conditions, ranging from acute to chronic and benign to malignantRequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facilityActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician licenseDEA LicenseCPR BCLS/BLS certifiedMust hold a Master's Degree in NursingCompleted a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programA year of experience in DermatologyPreferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training providedMust have great organizational and time management skills.Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Fine motor skills for procedures.
