Early Intervention Physical Therapist

Medstaff Group is recruiting Early Intervention providers on behalf of an EI agency serving young children (birth to age five) and their families across Brooklyn. We're looking for a NYS-licensed Physical Therapist to provide Early Intervention services in Boro Park, Kensington, and Flatbush.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 physical therapy evaluations and treatment sessions to children under 5
• Deliver services in the home, daycare, or another natural environment as assigned
• Document sessions and coordinate with the child's care team as required
• Maintain a flexible caseload across the neighborhoods listed above

Area notes:

• Boro Park: must be flexible with locations served across the area
• Kensington: no current PT coverage in this area
• Flatbush: this is currently a more urgent need than OT; after-hours availability and home visits are needed — many current candidates prefer school-based cases only

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience providing services to children under 5 required (Early Intervention); general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
• Willing to provide home-based visits, not school/daycare cases only
• All candidates — whether DOH-approved or not — must have specific experience working with children under five. General pediatric experience alone is not sufficient. Candidates with a year or more of experience specifically with young children are preferred; a therapist who is experienced but not yet with this age group may be considered for mentorship.
