Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of inpatient experience and Level 1 trauma or high acuity facility background for an 8-hour day shift assignment.

Details

• Inpatient Physical Therapy unit with a team of 22 inpatient PTs and 2 inpatient OTAs
• 8H day shift scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM
• Caseload of 7-8 patients per day
• Possible float to Med Surg, Ortho, ED, or Step Down units based on skillset and experience, determined at orientation
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• MA license required in hand (if applicable)
• 2+ years of recent inpatient Physical Therapy experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience or high acuity facility experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proof of flu vaccination required, particularly during flu season
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of inpatients with rotating floor and unit assignments based on experience
• Must complete pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing if assigned to Milton or Plymouth campus
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning to any BILH facility
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not eligible
• Open to first-time travelers
