CLP Operations & Maintenance (CLP) is a company at the forefront of the modern-day electric utility industry. We are a Subcontractor for a major utility provider in Southern California. At CLP, we provide the best service, and we know that starts with the quality and professionalism of our workforce. We are seeking a Notification Coordinator to join our team at our Long Beach location.

The Notification Coordinator works with Construction Coordinators that are scheduling the installation of equipment and components for high voltage electrical projects. They work within their group to provide excellent customer service and make sure jobsites are properly prepared prior to line crew arrival to ensure crew can work safely and efficiently with no delays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Construction Coordinator to correctly identify and notify residential and commercial consumers of work scope, location, and impact
• Create No Parking signage. Place signage properly and carefully following processes.
• Face to face interactions with both commercial and residential consumers
• Observe and document existing sight conditions at various work locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience required, utility industry experience preferred.
• Combination of electrical training and electrical construction field experience, as well as the ability to perform administrative tasks.
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and self-organize with changing priorities.
• Team player.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Some overtime work is expected on weekends and evenings.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

• You must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• A valid driver’s license with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly: $22.00 to $32.00 based on experience
