Job Description

Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. They work closely with patients to develop personalized therapy plans aimed at improving communication and functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide therapy sessions to address communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
• Educate patients and their families on management techniques and progress expectations.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and clinical assessment abilities.
• Have previous experience working with diverse patient populations in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
• Show strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in treatment approaches.
