Job Title: Project Manager/Estimator

Pay: $50k - $85K+

Job Description

The role involves timely, accurate, and competitive estimating, bidding, selling, and managing roofing projects for various commercial flat roofing systems, materials, and construction processes. The position requires a proactive individual capable of reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications, and managing projects to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, bid, and sell roofing projects accurately and competitively.
• Manage and oversee roofing projects for customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, General Contractors, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Understand and stay up-to-date on design requirements, codes, and materials.
• Climb ladders and stairs, and lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as required to meet the organization's needs.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience in commercial roofing or as a Supervisor.
• Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to learn and use estimating software.
• Strong math skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with estimating is preferred.
• Working knowledge of CAD software is a plus.
• Ability to follow directions effectively.
• Capability to lift and move materials, and operate motorized rooftop equipment and tools.
• Experience with roof repairs on both commercial and residential roofs.
• Installation of various commercial roofing systems (EPDM, PVC, TPO, etc.).
• Installation of various residential roofing systems (shingles, slate and tile, wood and shakes, gutters, etc.).
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Milwaukee,WI.
