Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: Toledo, OH
Pay Rate: $47–$52/hour
Job Type: Part Time, Per Diem, Full Time
Shift: Day or Night Shift

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to provide high-quality nursing care to acute-care patients requiring continuous cardiac and vital-sign monitoring. The ideal candidate should have hands-on Telemetry experience and at least 1 year of acute-care RN experience within the last 5 years .

The RN will monitor patients, recognize changes in cardiac rhythms and clinical condition, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute-care Telemetry setting.
• Continuously monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition and promptly report findings.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and other physician-ordered interventions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient response to medications and treatments.
• Communicate significant changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, nursing assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status
• .Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• in the applicable state or Compact RN license.

Minimum 1 year of acute-care RN experience within the last 5 years.Telemetry experience required.

• Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.
• Experience with an EHR/EMR system preferred.

Compensation
$47–$52/hour , depending on experience.
