Shift Information

This position is variable and will include shifts from:

• 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Description

The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic environment, with responsibilities that may include direct patient care and management of complex medical situations. The position requires adherence to a patient ratio of approximately 4 patients per nurse and may involve floating between units as needed. The facility is expected to have a daily census of around 100 patients with a variety of age groups including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Active California RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
• Preferred previous charge experience

• Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary assistance.
