Physical Therapist - Full Time

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license required to start the position.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in high-volume outpatient clinic settings preferred, including caseloads of roughly 18–20 patients per day.
• Comfort using productivity expectations of approximately 1.8–2.2 patients per hour.
• Willingness to work varied schedules including weekday shifts, possible rotating Saturdays, and potential 4x10 schedules.
• Strong candidates often come from outpatient organizations such as Sportscare, JAG Physical Therapy, Twinborough, Professional Physical Therapy, Concentra, or Ivy Rehab.

Clinic and Role Details

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic in Elizabeth, NJ.
• Typical caseload: 18–20 patients per day.
• Productivity expectation: 1.8–2.2 patients/hour, with peaks up to 3 patients/hour.
• Support staff: Full-time aides commonly provided; ratio varies by clinic size.
• Multidisciplinary environment including chiropractic, occupational therapy, and acupuncture with physical therapy as primary focus.
• Schedule examples: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM or 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Tuesday/Thursday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM; rotating Saturdays about once per month; some locations offer 4x10 schedules.
• Advancement opportunities into Clinic Director and Regional Director roles. Growth across the region supports regular internal promotions.
