Surgical Technologist - CVOR

Job Summary HSHS is seeking dedicated Surgical Technologists to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. The role involves assisting surgical team members in providing intraoperative care to the perioperative patient by preparing and monitoring equipment, passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, assisting with patient transfer and positioning, and performing various surgical skills and procedures. Position Details Department: CVOR Core Function: Surgical Tech Schedule: Part‑time and full‑time available; day shifts, weekends, on call, and holiday rotation Facility: St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital Location: Green Bay, WI Sign‑on Bonus: $10,000 Compensation Pay Range: $25.53 – $38.29 per hour. Final pay will be based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. Responsibilities Prepare and monitor surgical equipment. Pass instruments and supplies to surgical team members. Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures. Assist with patient transfer and positioning. Perform surgical skills and procedures as directed by the surgical team. Qualifications Graduated from or currently enrolled in a recognized surgical technology program (expected graduation within nine months of hire). Alternatively, successful completion of military training in surgical technology is required. Illinois high‑school diploma or GED plus at least three years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist in a healthcare setting may be considered in lieu of formal education. Associate degree in surgical technology is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) issued by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred. Medical Requirements HSHS requires COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption for all in‑person positions. This requirement does not apply to roles classified as 100% remote.
