The team takes an active approach to investing by aiming to identify companies that they believe will create long-term value through forward-looking, company-specific research.Role OverviewFundamental Equity is seeking to add a highly motivated professional to its client portfolio management team, focusing on US large/mid cap and thematic strategies. Our team of client portfolio managers work closely with portfolios managers, salespeople, and a wide range of clients to understand client needs and design investment solutions, provide industry and strategy education and subject matter expertise, drive product strategy and capital raising, develop thought leadership and marketing materials, and establish and execute on business strategy. Responsibilities also include collaborating on new client focused initiates and development of AI/digital tools. Our team operates in a fast-paced environment that welcomes individuals who have a background and demonstrated interest in portfolio management, capital raising and client collaboration to drive progress.Key Responsibilities: Learn and understand Fundamental Equity investment strategies and portfolio management approach, with a focus on US large/mid cap and thematic strategiesDrive commercial outcomes through client engagement, including client meetings and presenting at conferencesServe as a product expert on Fundamental Equity investment strategies to both internal and external clients of the Division and FirmCreate and deliver custom client proposals/presentations that use our investment products individually or combination to meet individual investor goalsServe as point of contact for sales, advisor and client questionsEducate internal and external groups on focus products and investment capabilities Partner with portfolio management team to identify and design new productsCreate thought leadership and content on market outlook, investment capabilities and industry landscape in collaboration with portfolio managers, salespeople, and marketingConduct competitive analyses, peer group analyses and overall market researchDevelop solid working relationships with Asset Management investment teams, working closely with portfolio managers, researchers and investment specialists to gain investment insight to be used in our marketing collateralManage a team of analysts and associates and support the development of the next generation of talent Qualifications:10+ years of relevant work experienceExperience in a client facing role working with institutional clients, financial advisors and HNW clientsStrong financial, statistical and investment knowledge and interestExcellent technical skillsExcellent verbal, presentation and written communication skillsStrong industry knowledge and commercial instinctStrong familiarity with various investment structures and instruments including separate accounts, ETFs, etcOutstanding attention to detailThrives in a team-oriented and collaborative environmentProactive, organized and results drivenStrong PowerPoint and Excel skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressureCreativity and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel for client engagement opportunitiesSalary Range The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $125000-$290000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
