Role Description

The Aircraft Test Technician position, based in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, is responsible for supporting and conducting aircraft testing activities. This role involves extensive travel within the continental US, driving to and from aircraft test sites, and occasional international travel as required. The technician will be involved in various tasks including research and development of aircraft avionics equipment lists, generating compliance reports, providing on-site support for avionics installation and aircraft integration, coordinating with vendors, customers, and engineering disciplines, and serving as an on-site liaison. Additionally, the technician will be assigned other duties and tasks as necessary.

• Perform tasks within customer schedules while prioritizing safety.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment and random Non-DOT drug and alcohol tests.
• Subject to random drug testing as a job requirement.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
• Exercise care and caution when handling sensitive test equipment in multimillion-dollar aircraft interiors.
• Previous experience with engineering, installation, troubleshooting, and/or maintenance of aircraft avionics systems is desired.
• OTR (Over-the-Road) driver experience is advantageous.

Pay

• $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 annual salary.
• Additional Practical Mileage Pay of $0.15 per mile driven.

Travel

• Extensive travel is required including weekends.
• Schedule will be irregular with short notice as required to support client needs.
• Historical data from 2024 (provided for reference only, not guaranteed to reflect future travel needs, actual may be more or less); 185 days of travel; 30 trips (2-18 days duration, 6 days avg, 13 trips of more than 5 days duration); 73,343 miles driven (1263 hrs driving, 100-180 hrs driving time per month typical)

Work Location

• At client aircraft maintenance facilities throughout the United States for testing events.
• In person at Liberty Partners, Inc. main office, Okmulgee, OK when not travelling.
