Master Plumber

Role: Master Plumber Location: On site - Position will be servicing clients in Metro Detroit Job Type: Permanent Pay Rate: $40-60/hr Responsibilities: Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, local regulations, and industry standards. Maintain testing equipment, inventory, and company vehicle. Coordinate testing and repairs with customers while providing exceptional service. Complete electronic test reports and submit required documentation to municipalities and water authorities. Replace backflow preventers when repairs are not practical or cost-effective. Repair and rebuild backflow prevention assemblies. Diagnose failed backflow preventers and determine the appropriate repair or replacement. Perform annual testing of backflow prevention assemblies. Qualifications Current Michigan Master Plumber License. Current Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification (ASSE 5110 or equivalent as required by local jurisdictions). Experience testing, repairing, and replacing commercial backflow prevention assemblies. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience using tablets or mobile devices for digital reporting is preferred.
