Senior Fund Accountant | Global Private Markets Investment Firm | Fully Remote

A leading global private markets investment firm with approximately $70+B in AUM is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a highly respected investment platform with exposure across private equity, secondaries, co-investments, venture/growth equity, and private credit .

This role is ideal for a high-performing accounting professional with 3-5 years of experience coming from a Big 4 firm or alternative investment manager who is looking to move beyond traditional fund administration and gain meaningful ownership within a sophisticated investment platform.

• Opportunity to independently review, challenge, and validate fund administrator work rather than simply processing transactions

Key Responsibilities

• Review capital calls, distributions, management fees, expense allocations, and partnership accounting
• Prepare and review quarterly incentive allocation and waterfall calculations
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements
• Coordinate with auditors and support annual audits
• Review investor communications, capital activity notices, and investor reporting
• Partner with fund administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of reporting
• Serve as a key reviewer for fund accounting deliverables across assigned funds and co-investment vehicles
• Analyze and reconcile accounting records, cash activity, and fund performance metrics

Desired Background

• 3-5 years of experience in Big 4 audit, fund accounting, or alternative investments
• Private equity, private credit, partnership accounting, or alternative asset experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• CPA preferred but not required
• Experience with Investran a plus
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
• Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
