Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within a high-volume acute hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their Alaska RN license on the first day of assignment. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date ASAP, and offers a flexible scheduling option of 3x12-hour days.

Job Details

• Location: Anchorage, Alaska
• Schedule: 3x12 Days shifts, with start times varying between 0645-1915 or 0900-2130.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience required.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Requirements: Valid Alaska RN license in hand for automatic offer. Pending licenses accepted with license in hand before start.
• Patient Ratio: 1 patient per nurse during days.
• On-call/Call: On-call limited to coverage for call-offs only.
• Weekend Coverage: Yes, with flexibility contingent upon facility needs.
• Float: May float within scope to like units if needed.
• RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer; all requests must be included in submittal.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma level II experience preferred, and familiarity with a broad range of surgical procedures.
• Special Equipment: XI Robot, Mazor Robot.
• Vaccinations: Hep B vaccination required.
• Duration: 13-week assignment, starting as soon as possible.
