Civil Defense Attorney

The Opportunity Marshall Dennehey, P.C., an Am Law 200 civil defense firm with more than sixty years of service, is seeking Associate Attorneys for its New York City, Westchester, and Melville offices with one to fours years of civil litigation experience that want early responsibility and meaningful exposure on complex cases. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-exposure cases for Fortune 500 clients in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our practice is team-based and highly collaborative, offering meaningful client interaction and a clear path for professional development and practice growth. This is a hands‑on role whereby associates in this group will have the opportunity to take and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and litigate matters from inception to resolution under the direction of senior attorneys. Your matters will be diverse and meaningful and may include premises and retail liability, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defect, commercial auto/trucking litigation and more! Many of these cases involve catastrophic losses, multiple claimants, and fatalities, requiring strong judgment, organization, and strategic thinking. Compensation range: $110,000 - $150,000 which is negotiable dependent upon experience level and portable business. The posted compensation range for this position is based on several legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Firm.
